CROSSFIT 470 FUNDAMENTALS PROGRAM

The Fundamentals Program is designed to provide you with the opportunity to learn about the numerous movements we utilise in our group classes, CrossFit terminology, proper eating habits and how to perform basic maintenance on your body.
The Fundamentals Program will give you individual attention with movements that are technical and require time and practice. We are not going to throw you into a class performing barbell snatches and handstand push-ups on your first day. We want to give you the confidence and tools to excel with all of the movements.
During these sessions we will also have the opportunity to get to know you, your goals, your ambitions, your obstacles and challenges. This will allow us to better serve you and help achieve your mission.
Following completion of the program, you will be able move on to our group classes and become part of our community. In our group classes the focus will be on training to the margins and increasing your work capacity. The pace will be fast but you will be prepared after completing your Fundamentals Program.
How Does It Work?
The Personal Fundamentals Program is a 3 session introductory course, with each session lasting approximately 1 hour on a one to one basis with a coach. You will arange suitable dates and times with your coach so that you can complete the sessions around your work schedule. This costs £30/hour.
What We Will Cover
During the Fundamentals Program we are going to want to know a little more about you. We will be conducting assessments in order to understand you, your personal goals, current health, concerns or up and coming competitions. Once we have some understanding of your needs, we can help you achieve your goals.
Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive understanding of the CrossFit program. We will introduce, refine and discuss range of motion requirements for the following movements:
Squats: air squat, front squat, overhead squat
Presses: shoulder press, push press, push jerk
Power movements: deadlift, sumo deadlift high pull, med-ball clean
Olympic movements: clean and jerk, snatch
Gymnastics: pull-up, push-ups, burpees
Other common movements: thrusters, wall balls, kettlebell swings, box jumps
Please understand that all movements have modifications and we are happy to work with all abilities.
Once you have completed your Fundamentals Program you will also have FREE UNLIMITED access for an additional week before making a decision on joining.
